Tendering is how buyers to ensure they work with suppliers who provide good value, fit-for-purpose goods or services. It’s how big organisations make important decisions about who they’ll work with.

Sometimes tenders will be for a specific project or piece of work. These can be very lucrative, one-off jobs.

Other times organisations will tender for a “standing offer arrangement” (SOA), which puts a business on a shortlist of “pre-approved suppliers” for use within that organisation. Being on this list is great for your business long-term, though there are a few hurdles to jump first.

What is a tender?

How can we help?

Starting a tender process can seem daunting. As a business owner, you’re already doing everything else. How do you turn away from doing paid work (or sleep) to wrangle all this paperwork, for the chance of winning new work?

We can help with:

  • Finding available tenders: If you’re not sure where to start.

  • Process review & advice: Decide whether it’s the right opportunity for your business, or how you might need to level up.

  • Tender document preparation & submission: We do the paperwork for you.

  • Tender material review & feedback: If you’re ready to press “go” but want a second set of eyes over it.

  • Post award review: Didn’t win? Let’s understand why, so you can learn for next time.

  • Amelia was the client-side project manager and business case author for a ~$200M campus building development proposal for which I was the project sponsor. The proposal was developed in response to a range of strategic and operational needs for a range of stakeholders and the solution Amelia presented brought these together into a cohesive development strategy which took into consideration both short- and long-term objectives. She collated inputs from multiple stakeholder groups, worked closely with consultant architects, and briefed and obtained all required endorsements through a complex approvals process. What was particularly impressive about Amelia’s project contribution and skill set was her ability to write persuasively and produce high quality documentation; her ability to navigate complex approvals processes and incorporate feedback; and her ability to work with a range of stakeholders to develop an outcome that harmonises a range of organisational needs. I have no hesitation in recommending her to others.

  • ClearPath Tenders Bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to funding processes and project management. Possibly more importantly though, they listen, lead gently and will share the journey with you.

  • Over a decade’s worth of projects, I have observed firsthand Amelia’s capacity to navigate complexity, manage diverse stakeholders, and write persuasively. She is a talented project manager but has shown herself to be so much more than that. Whether it be a complex procurement or risk management assessment, she is a trusted team member who exercises good judgment and willingness to take initiative.

  • I really appreciated the thoroughness of a grant development process Amelia managed for me. She was able to synthesise information quickly and produce a product that not only sang the benefits of the project, but make it appear to the funding body achievable and practical. She would be a partner I would consider in any grant or tender writing opportunity especially for small and medium enterprises.
